Honey Badger Cubs

The Honey Badger Cubs is a spring hockey opportunity for players with a 2017 or 2018 birth year. The Cubs will practice as a team, learn skills similar to our spring teams, all in a fun environment. Cubs will also participate in inter-team scrimmages.

Team Details

The Honey Badger Cubs team will be limited to 24 players and two goalies (no tryouts). The team will practice once per week on Saturdays from 8:00 - 9:00am at Eble Park Ice Arena. Practices begins April 5 and run through June 7. The practice on June 7 will be an inter-team scrimmage!

Practices will focus on key youth hockey skills, designed to build upon skills learned during the regular season, with an emphasis on game play. Examples include:

• Skating skills

• Puck handling, passing, receiving, shooting, body positioning

• Team skills

• Position play, teamwork, game skills, awareness

The team will participate in inter-team scrimmages, and potentially scrimmages with other teams.

Registration For 2025 Is Closed

Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. There are no try-outs for the Honey Badger Cubs. All Honey Badger Cubs participants are required to fill out a release of liability form on the first day of practice.
