Greg Moskonas

Hockey Director and 2009A Head Coach

Greg is the Hockey Director for Hockey Locker Honey Badgers, and is also the '09 co-ed head coach. As the Hockey Director, Greg develops practice plans for the organization, and also supports our coaches in developing all players. Greg is the assistant coach of the Chicago Reapers Bantam Minor (U13) and Squirt Major (U10) teams and hockey skills instructor. He has over 15 years of coaching experience including six years with the AAA level in both Milwaukee and Chicago, and assistant coach with the KMMO Varsity and JV programs. In addition, Greg has coached skaters that have tried out for The North American Hockey Showcase (The Show), skaters that played on Team Wisconsin, skaters that played on Kohlman Cup teams, skaters that have been accepted into CCM Selects, and a skater that played in the 2021 CCM EURO INVITE in Bled, Slovenia.

Greg is an ambassador of hockey, and loves to teach and train athletes of all levels. He believes in 100% skills development on, and off the ice, challenging young athletes to achieve their best, and that playing hockey and working hard to reach goals can be translated into skills that they can apply later in life. Greg lives in Milwaukee with his wife, Becky, daughter Bella and son Nikko.

Justin Thundercloud

2009AA Head Coach

Justin is a Level 4 USA Hockey certified coach, with ten years of experience coaching youth hockey, and a combined thirty years of coaching across various sports. Justin is the current Director of Hockey and Peewee A coach at Milwaukee Winter Club, the University School of Milwaukee JV hockey Head Coach, and is a past Director of Coaches, Director of Mites and President of SHAW Hockey. As a coach, Justin prioritizes skills and solid tactical hockey and believes that strong tactical play enhances a player's skills. Justin focuses on the core values of discipline, grit, sacrifice and leadership, and believes that it is important for players to understand and develop into their roles on their teams, and in life. Justin believes in developing relationships with the players he coaches as well as their parents, and works to be a resource for them during the hockey season, and afterwards. Justin has a track record of players continuing their hockey journey at various levels, enjoying the game and having success at the next level. Justin has two children, Alex (02) and Marcus (05), both played hockey for a number of years and spent their time playing hockey at the club, AAA, Juniors and/or College levels.

Jordan Boehlke

2010 Head Coach

Jordan is a former NCAA D3 collegiate hockey player, and a hockey instructor with Lakefront Hockey Group. At Lakefront Hockey Group he specializes in shooting, scoring, skating and hockey career navigation. Jordan began playing hockey at a young age, and has played with teams across Southeastern WI, including Washington County, Elmbrook and Ozaukee. He played with the Milwaukee Jr. Admirals for three years while in high school before moving East to play junior hockey for two seasons. He then committed to play hockey at Lawrence University, an NCAA D3 school. He played full-time hockey throughout his college career, and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Neuroscience. He is now a dental student at Marquette University and is projected to graduate in 2024. As a coach, Jordan focuses on helping players improve each time they are on the ice by sharing the knowledge, and instruction, that he has received throughout his hockey career.

Mark Goralski

2011 Head Coach

Mark is a Level 3 USA Hockey certified coach, and coach at SHAW. Mark has over six years of coaching youth hockey (sports) experience. Mark began playing hockey when he was 9 years old, and played with SHAW through high school. In addition to hockey, Mark played football and received a grant to play football at University of Minnesota-Crookston. After graduating, and before having kids, Mark played hockey in bar leagues and in pick-up games. Since having kids, Mark changed his focus and uses his hockey knowledge to help his children, and the team he coaches, grow and learn the game. As a coach, Mark believes in growing player knowledge, confidence, personal awareness, respect, teamwork and passion for the game. Mark's philosophy is to create an environment where hard work, preparedness, respect and having fun are paramount. Mark lives in New Berlin with his wife Jamie, daughter Evonna, son Gavin, and son Gabriel.

Ryan Kloskey

2012 Head Coach

Ryan is a Level 4 USA Hockey certified coach, and coach at SHAW. Ryan has five years of experience coaching youth hockey, and was an assistant coach of the 2011 Honey Badgers team last year as well as a head coach for a Girls Squirt Spring team in Milwaukee. Ryan primarily played pond hockey as a child, for the pure joy of it, and has always enjoyed watching the game. When his kids began playing hockey, Ryan decided to learn the fine art of coaching. As a coach, Ryan focuses on skills development and team building. He expects players to give their maximum effort, on the ice, off the ice, and in everything they do. Ryan believes that hockey is meant to be fun. And that if you work hard at something you truly enjoy, the success will follow. Ryan has two children, daughter Lilyana and Jaxson - both youth hockey players.

Ryan Brigowatz

2013 Head Coach

Ryan is a Level 4 USA Hockey certified coach, and a coach with the Waukesha Warhawks. Ryan has eight years of experience coaching youth hockey at the Mini Mite through Bantam levels. Ryan grew up playing youth hockey in Beaver Dam, beginning at the age of six. He spent a few years as a skater, and then switched to full-time goalie at the Peewee level. Ryan spent his last year of organized hockey with the Green Bay Jr Gamblers U18 AAA team and had the opportunity to travel all over the Midwest and Canada playing hockey. Some of his fondest memories are of playing with, and against, players that made it to the NHL. As a coach, Ryan focuses on developing well rounded players both on, and off the ice. He believes that hockey can teach kids a lot of life lessons, including work ethic, discipline, and physical and mental toughness. Ryan knows that hockey is meant to be fun and finds ways to teach the game in various ways, while keeping the game interesting and enjoyable. Ryan has four children, Madi, Aidyn, Talyn and Harper - three play hockey.

Kevin Bendickson

2014 Head Coach

Kevin is a Level 4 USA Hockey certified coach, has coached at Milwaukee Winter Club for the past eight years, is the current U10 level coordinator and has been a level coordinator at the U6-U14 levels as well as a goalie development coordinator. Kevin is also an Eagle Scout, and knows the experience helped shape him as coach, leader and person. Kevin grew up in Minneapolis playing hockey on outdoor rinks whenever possible, and also enjoyed Alpine ski racing, jumping, baseball and golf, and he currently plays in the Ozaukee County Hockey League. As a coach, Kevin focuses on the development of the player, and the person they are growing up to be. He finds it important for players to learn and develop as a youth hockey player, but also as an individual, and believes their behavior on, and off the ice, is reflective of them and the team that they play for. Teaching fundamental hockey, breakouts, neutral zone possession, zone entry, F1, F2, F3 offensive zone concepts, and an overall team concept vs hero hockey, is what Kevin focuses on as a coach. Kevin has four children, Aidan, Brady, Ashlyn and Mason - three play hockey.

Tom Gibbons

2015 Head Coach

Tom is a Level 5 USA Hockey certified coach, and has over fifteen years of experience coaching hockey, beginning at the Mini-Mite level, through the High School level. Tom is the current President for the Waukesha Warhawks and a hockey coach. Tom began playing hockey when he was five and continued to play through his college years. He played high school hockey at Mahtomedi High School, in Minnesota, and club hockey for Minnesota State University in Mankato, MN. As a coach, Tom focuses on skating, and core hockey skills, and well as enjoying the game. Tom’s passion for the game is visible when he is on, and off, the ice, and his hope is that players take some of that passion with them, the entire time they play hockey. Tom lives in Ixonia with his wife Emily and two sons, Gavin and Porter.

Milos Host

Goalie Coach

Milos has been a goalie for 33 years and has been involved in hockey since he was six. His tenure as a goalie includes playing Tier 1 Jr. Hockey in “Czechoslovakia” and the Milwaukee Flyers (Great Lakes Hockey League). Milos runs goalie camps in the summer and focuses on building skills with youth hockey players, as well as the love of the game. Milos also owns Hockey Locker, a hockey store located on the corner of 20th and Howard. While at the store he shares his love of hockey and many years of experience with customers. Milos lives in Milwaukee with his wife Agata, son Sebastian and Lily.
